Our current products include tours and vacation packages in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, South & Central America, Africa and the Middle East.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The Marketing/Product Intern will provide support to the Marketing and Product Departments, particularly the Marketing Specialist with regard to website enhancements, product, and e-commerce marketing for both Tours4Fun.com and Tours4Fun.es (Spanish) properties. This position requires good attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Marketing/Product Intern will support the Marketing & Product Departments and in particular the Marketing Specialist
• Weekly updating of e-commerce marketing & strategy
• Weekly updating and analysis of tour sales
• Assist Product Department in new supplier research
• Creation of a supplier database
• Competitor analysis of product content and pricing, for existing and new tour evaluation as required by Marketing Specialist.
• Updating elements of the Product Database
• Research new marketing opportunities – online and offline
• Must be proficient/advanced in use of all main social media platforms -- Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google + etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bilingual (Spanish) – preferred, but not necessary
• Excellent mathematical, analytical and communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work with a multitude of departments and staff members.
• Requires competent computer skills with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Previous travel experience and love for travel a plus

ENVIRONMENT AND SCOPE:
This is a non-paid internship. School credit available. This role has a high degree of autonomy in determining workload. Must keep a professional demeanor at all times when representing the company.
